Funday Times - Thursday 9 March 2006

CBBC presenter Dominic Wood

How tidy was your bedroom when you left this morning?
It was a right mess, but that's okay, the magic pixies clean it up for me. Who are the magic pixies? My wife!

What CDs are you listening to at the moment?
I like many different styles of music, but Gorillaz and The Libertines are my favourites. Oh, and The Best of Blur, which I nicked from Dick.

Which TV shows do you catch when you can?
Channel 4's Shipwrecked is really good. And I also like Gordon Ramsay's show.

What's your secret geeky thing?
Most people know that I'm a magician, but I don't think it's geeky. Want to know a secret? I've got loads of magic tricks in my loft. They’re all stored away in a chest of wicker drawers.

What have you been putting off recently that you should be getting on with?
I've got a signed poster of (famous American magician) David Blaine that I keep meaning to put up on my wall. It's framed and I love it, but I keep forgetting to put it up.

Who's the most intriguing celebrity you've ever met?
Rachel Stevens. She was really, really interesting.

When are you happiest?
When I'm chilling at home with my wife and two cats, Boo and Martin.

What's your motto for life?
Don't eat yellow snow.

CBBC presenter Richard McCourt

How tidy was your bedroom when you left this morning?
It was a complete mess. I'm not the tidiest of people. I was running late this morning and didn't make the bed or put any of my clothes away.

What CDs are you listening to at the moment?
I've got two albums that I keep playing at the moment - Coldplay and the Arctic Monkeys.

Which TV shows do you catch when you can?
I'm a big fan of EasEnders. I love Pat Butcher and always tune in to see what earrings she's wearing.

What's your secret geeky thing?
I used to collect postcards from a television show called TV-am. It used to air on ITV before GMTV came along. I wrote in to ask for signed photos of all the presenters and put them up on my bedroom wall. I've still got them at home.
